The Luxury Network Nigeria (TLN Nigeria) is proud to have partnered with Lux Afrique to deliver Africa’s first-ever Lux Afrique Jewellery, Watch & Home (LAJWH) Expo, an event that redefined the African luxury landscape and set a bold new standard for global prestige and African excellence. Held from 12–14 September 2025, Lagos was the proud host of this groundbreaking occasion, which brought together some of the world’s leading luxury houses alongside Africa’s finest brands. Curated by luxury entrepreneur and founder Alexander Amosu, the Expo celebrated artistry, heritage, and elevated living.

The Expo opened with an exclusive Welcome Cocktail Reception on Friday, 12 September, before unfolding into two days of curated exhibitions, thought-provoking panels, and immersive workshops. Moderated by Denise Eseimokumoh, Acting Editor of Marie Claire Nigeria, the discussions explored the future of African luxury and its emerging role on the global stage.

Event Highlights Included:

  • Unlocking Africa: The Next Billion-Dollar Market for Luxury with Anna Koury, Hodan Ibrahim, Alexander Amosu, Jeremy Taylor, and Tate Torongo.
  •  Gateway to the World’s Best Schools & Universities, led by Debbie Gispan.
  • Luxury Reimagined: The Future of Retail in Nigeria with Ewaen Sorae, Derrick Chike Memeh, and Chief Victor Okolie.
  • Made in Africa: Crafting Global Luxury in the Local Soul with Richie Shittu, Toks Aruoture, and Kunbi Uzochukwu — an insightful conversation focused on authenticity, artistry, and the need for infrastructure to support African brands globally.

The Expo floor dazzled with showcases from renowned brands such as Clive Christian, Omavicci, Pantheon, The Baby Cot Shop, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Johannesburg, and Access Bank Private Banking. Guests were also treated to a live auction featuring rare and exclusive pieces from Hermès, Rolex, Cartier, and more.

On Saturday, 13 September, the LAJWH Expo, in collaboration with Glenfiddich, hosted an elegant Awards Gala and Dinner at the stunning ONA Restaurant. This evening celebrated excellence and innovation in Africa’s luxury industry, honoring brands and individuals whose contributions continue to shape the continent’s luxury narrative. Award recipients included:

  • Glenfiddich – Luxury Beverage Brand of the Year
  • The Delborough – Luxury Hotel of the Year
  • Kika Osunde – People’s Choice: Luxury Lifestyle Influencer of the Year
  • Lisa Folawiyo – African Luxury Brand of the Year
  • ALARA Lagos – Luxury Concept Store of the Year
  • Cosmas Maduka – Lifetime Achievement in Luxury
  • Access Bank – Luxury Bank of the Year
  • Polo Luxury – Luxury Retailer of the Year
  • Rolls-Royce – Luxury Car Brand of the Year
  • SLOW – Luxury Dining Experience of the Year

The celebration brought together tastemakers, industry leaders, and global icons in an atmosphere that epitomized the very best of African and international luxury. The programme concluded with a vibrant Closing Party on Sunday, 14 September, at The Delborough’s exquisite Dani Restaurant, leaving guests with an overwhelming sense of optimism and anticipation for the future of African luxury.

For The Luxury Network, this milestone reflects their ongoing mission to bridge global brands with Africa’s growing high-net-worth community, while amplifying the excellence of homegrown luxury.
